ICC performs Islamic marriage ceremonies. In what follows, we summarize the instructions to be followed regarding what paperwork is needed, what people are involved, and the Marriage Certificate details.

Islamic Marriage Instructions

Schedule an appointment with Imam Omar

The following individuals need to be present:

  • The groom and bride
  • Two Muslim witnesses (optional)

Bring the following documents to the appointment:

  • Original copy of the Arizona Marriage License.
  • Proper photo identification cards/passport for:
  • The groom and bride
  • The witnesses (if applicable)

Schedule an appointment for Marriage

Fees:

ICC Members are suggested to donate $150.

  • Out-of-Masjid: $250

Non-Members are suggested to donate $300.

  • Out-of-Masjid: $500

The Imam will complete and sign the Arizona Marriage License and mail it to the Clerk of Court and will issue an Islamic Marriage Certification.
